I had got a desire to begin my organization, nevertheless I did not have enough amount of cash to do that. Thank heaven my close mate recommended to utilize the <a href="http://lowest-rate-loans.com/topics/home-loans">home loans</a>. Thence I took the secured loan and made real my desire.

Aaron Funk, a local relief worker, recently returned from his ongoing rebuilding work in Haiti with an arsenal of images that he reports “will melt your heart.” On Saturday, May 29, Funk is hosting a fundraiser, where he will take guests on a photographic journey through post-earthquake Haiti.

“We will be hosting an exposition dedicated to the untold story of beauty and resilience that is the island and its people,” says Funk of the Saturday event. A slide show and brief presentation chronicling his recent trip will be followed by dinner, as well as dancing to music from various Haitian artists.

The War of Jenkins' Ear was a conflict between Sonoma Co. and Asheville that lasted from 1983 to 1991, with major operations largely ended by 1989. Its unusual name relates to Dick Jenkins, captain of a Rainbow merchant bus, who exhibited his severed ear in Parliament following the boarding of his vessel by APD in 1983.

This affair and a number of similar incidents sparked a war against the Ashevillians, ostensibly to encourage the Sonomans not to renege on the lucrative goo-ball contract (a gooey rainbow delicacy).[5]

That is the best entry on this guest book in ages.
I can only hope it serves as a message of peace for future generations.

Prof Jenkins PiledHighdee 4-21-2010 07:42 PM
Thanks Jerk, glad you approve.

It is the first in what i project to be a series: Getting to know Jenkins...

General Albert Gallatin Jenkins was born to wealthy plantation owner Capt. William Jenkins and his wife Jeanette Grigsby McNutt in Cabell County, Virginia, now West Virginia.

At the age of fifteen, he ran away to San Francisco to become a hippie. He quickly graduated from petty vandalism and burglery, to dealing and drug smuggling by 1997, when he first began to rap with friends in the haight.

By 2000 he had reconciled with his father, and he came back to West Virginia to run the plantation, which his father had recently transitioned to marijuana cultivation.

With his father's vast landholdings and accumulated political and fiancial wealth, and Jenkins own street-level connects, Jenkins quickly advanced through the ranks before usurping his predecessors and taking the title "General" from his former street boss in a nasty game of thumb war.

Prof Jenkins eskwire 4-21-2010 07:52 PM
and apparently, one can obtain the title "Jenkins" in the online game World of Warcraft by killing a bunch of dudes in a short period of time.

As the story goes, the title comes from a player named Leeroy Jenkins who got his entire gaming clique killed in an online battle because he was a clueless tool.

Since then, at least on military expert has compared the character Jenkin's activities to that of the US forces in Iraq.

Leeroy Jenkins later found himself immortalized in the very game in which he appears. Blizzard added the attainable title of Jenkins to players who could kill 50 of the famous rookery whelps from the video within 15 seconds, with the achievement "Leeeeeeeeeeeeeroy!" being attained for the same feat.[10] Leeroy himself has yet to get this achievement, therefore he does not have the title 'Jenkins' after his name.[11]

... Thank you! (mainly to the jerk) for the response to 'my' raging.
It does help to have some sort of spoken/typed acknowledgement to my curiosity... I am not trying to be bogus or rude or what have you! Also, I very much appreciate and acknowledge the fact that this forum gives people a chance to communicate about the subjects of the day! In that respect it is certainly worth it.
I didn't intend to be a faceless blogger of hate or criticism. You could hit me up if you wanted to.. at any of the shows i went to i didn't, nor would i really have wanted to, spend the time complaining about my or your problems. ... 'we dwell on whats phat .. imwhats pop .... yo, ...
and on the subject of me thinking you are talking to me about me being one who steals from you. naww. anything i have or have had of yals shit i bought ( at least at one time or another!!) maybe twice or thrice, cuz i bought stuff of yalls for others and stuff for myself twice. anything i ever even heard of toprs was on a hard cd. cuz when i came out to that tour that was the first i heard of him.
On the topic of actually stealing from you guys on a consistent basis, and insulting you within the means that you werk: IM sorry! I am not ALL too familiar with the capacity in which you are robbed. That does upset me, but my friends and i have always been into supporting at the shows! My girl and i now, shit .. we'll 'Gain 'Free 'Entry and buy both ur cds, you know. we figure on that tip you get paid better anyway and it just feels better - give the money straight to you rather than the fu.. than the promoter
btw. u know if yall could make it out (i totally understand not being able to) i would promote for you.. Im not completely social, but that i would do. just because -no charge-
moving right along, that brings me to the fact that i also apologize for the 'get a second job' line! Like i said, yall have been surviving in the game for far too lang to not realize the realities .. bla blah.. but big up and keep doing your ting .. don't let me talk shit for not making it out to .. well paradice ..:) Its nice out hur. fasho.
Big up to A23 for realizing whats important. I don't encourage overpopulation. Although, the argument that i will choose to support is that if only the idiots reproduce-cuz they don't have any clue about what to do in their own lives, and all of the people who are smart don't reproduce-cuz they don't want to trap another soul(in a very precarious world/ a world in which they can scarcely tell themselves what to DO)... then the world will inevitably be fucked, unless through some oxyneo maxi zumdweeby way a genious is born who Changes it all ... But, I ..(not to mention the fact that no one really probably cares about my little tiny opinion) think i beleive that it is good that people consider 'the things they do cuz they affect what follows you' .. I Hope that your daughter realizes what she has in you.. i think she does now. Thats awesome -- gimmie the fruit :) I think that it is important that people like you reproduce, for whatever it is worth.. (also considering the fact that i don't Really know you) but you have had a very positron influence on my life. I don't think that you did it cuz it was an economically sound idea either, even though i beleive that good energy has far greater rewards than can be linearly (<- :) is that a werd) thought up .. and so it just makes sense that people would want your work lately. To be honest, the newest stuff, like that and street light music are the only thing i havent bought, cuz like i said i didn't know where to get it .. the only place i even heard it was my friend told me to youtube the misfit video and i ended up finding some new gems. Now I feel bad. i heard like 6 new songs that i didn't pay for.

same 4-1-2010 10:13 AM
See I feel bad if i do bad shit.. i don't think most people think like that. I see it all of the time, or people who do violent shit ( unless that is the way they survive) I have to buy that shit now. gimmie like till next week and im buying street light music, whatever new a23, album, and WTF, what about a new sTrange album, -cause and effect of.. ... pirates- the cartman saga-
In my job, almost every time i go to sell glass people break me down on price. they don't steal from me, and if they did it would be a different story! Im sure of it. like i said i cant Really speak on you all getting your shit robbed, even though i did and am still doing so :) .. :(
I have had shit stolen from me more than my brothers story. I came from a spot where muphukkas stole and came up on car stereos daily, jacked people. I got got a few times, but the idea was to steer clear of danger, Man, it sucks in yalls biz, cuz even if people get your music from you they can still "E" share it or some shit. I don't no what to say, but in my case i try to steer clear of theives and manifest good energy to the point where the main people in town i deal with now are straight shooters and don't haggle with me. very irie vibes.
I try to give things away, and i am sure that over the years yall have thrown free shows etc. and i don't attribute your .. downfall to this forum or such because other internet savvy people have ways of infiltrating good vibes. They don't really, but i do appreciate the open attitude from the members of the band. topr i agree that this subculture is at least trying and doing a descent job of representing an unsatisfied downtrodden working class mother fuckers.
big up yall, cant remember if i touched on errythang, but im tired now. Peace

Yeah OK. So here's something kinda interesting, relating to all this debate. As most of you know, I make a lot of kids music right now. This is mainly cause I have a kid, and it's really cool to bring your daughter up rapping next to you and your wife on stages like Lollapalooza, the Smithsonian and the Irving Plaza. But also, kid's music is one sector of the industry that hasn't suffered in CD sales from either the recession or piracy....

And why? One reason is that in a time of worry, people think about what's important, and those with family realize that their kids are most important, so a 15$ CD that they can bond with their kid over is worth it. Another, and listen here cause this applies to you, is that parents mostly don't steal music when their kid is involved, either subliminally or actually watching the purchase over their parents shoulders.

When kids are around, their natural purity and and innate love tend to test your own moral ambiguities and cynical viewpoints. Trust me. I know. And things you might do normally, you all of a sudden feel like an asshole for. Kind of brings the truth to light.

So before you rationalize something like stealing someone's art, which is as worthwhile as any invention, dig into what it means and if you would teach it to the person you loved most in the world.

That'll learn ya.

Dave 3-28-2010 04:29 AM
So, what do we do when we want to buy an artists art, but repeated requests to said artist are met with a sarcastic 'fuck you'?

Foul Mouth Jerk 3-28-2010 07:41 AM
You find him on a message board somewhere & tell him to go fuck himself, I imagine.

No, really though Dave, I will tell you what I tell everybody who gets on the guest book who asks that question about how to get a hard copy of any GFE related album that's otherwise unavailable...

PLEASE CONTACT ME AT: GFEMUSIC@HOTMAIL.COM

...That is if you still want said album after a stern, cynical "fuck you".

Truth is, a lot of people holla at us on the board about getting out of print cd's but almost none of them take me up on the offer getting it through my personal email. Which may or may not relate to the above debate. But regardless, I have access to everything that GFE ever made digital. You might get a burnt copy with little to no art or info depending on how cutty what you ask for may be, but you will get it. I can't send anything that was only ever on tape. Other than that holla at me.

That includes anything from GFE, it's individual's efforts, TopR's albums, and I'm pretty sure I got some Pens & Needles in there somewhere. I could probably get you as much Fist Family as you need as well.
Also you get a free FMJ sticker & refrigerator magnet with each purchase.

All the support you & the rest of our strange, unpredictable cult following have given us for over a decade is highly appreciated to say the least.

yo jerk, i think its time to get those old tapes digitized. and why didn't nickel nickel dime ever get released?

Jerk 3-29-2010 11:33 PM
Honestly the reason most of those tapes will never go digital is because most of them have long since melted into oblivion. That's what happens when you make cassettes out of irie vibes & positive thinking.
As for Nickel,Nickel,Dime if you mean the song, it was never released because it was never recorded. It was just a street routine that we used to do that turned into a stage freestyle routine.
If you mean the NND cd, and I don't want to touch off another firestorm of controversy here, but it was released as a short run tour cd. May or may not ever return again. I could see if I could find a copy somewhere.

Wasn't there a version of the nickle nickle dime routine on the bside of cactus's 12 inch? Or a 45 somewhere?

dave 3-30-2010 01:34 PM
yes.

to clarify: i want a copy of the album, not the song.

just wondering 3-30-2010 01:35 PM
also, what do you know about cactus' 12 inch?

23 4-2-2010 01:41 AM
My 12 inch is glorious...Yes TOPR, you are fuckin sharp. It's not on my record, but on BSKi's Traveling Crew 45, there is indeed a breakdown where we do the whole Nickel Nickel Dime routine. Good call. But seriously folks, I got boxes of records for sale. Go analog.

that just made my night. I drive by that billboard pretty much everyday... also he could've shortened his entire statement by saying "this was vandalism done within the Asheville city limits, therefore it was a white male who done this"

The sheriff's office is right down the street, but the fact that these right-wingers feel that the Sheriff's in a small Southern town were in on it, makes me feel fantastic.

I expect that audio to be sampled by someone GFE related very soon.

" Wait, this one is even better."

That's Tim Johnson, former head of the Buncomb Co. GOP. He was bat shit insane, and had to step down because he lied about going to college on his resume (whoops!).

So, now they just elected Chad Nesbit as their head. If you don't know much about Chad, you should check out his website.:
