thanks for asking...
first off, the first night got cut short after some wack redneck dude started screaming "fire", and spreading rumors Obama was outside. the whole place emptied out in , like, ten minutes. Lame.
BUT, the second night rumor had spread that Obama was going to be preforming live. Now, of course, that wasnt true, but What DID happen, was John Stuart showed up to sing on "children of the City" Shit was hot. Jon is a nice guy, too, incidentally. He smokes hella weed. GFE preformed a bunch of the new shit off the album. Marissa got drunk and took her pants off, and then made fun of jerk's penis size when he did the same. the crowd was huge, overflow, nuts.
third night we gave out free peyote, so i dont remember much.

i hope you realize that that is a disclaimer type of article. i feel stupid pointing that out but the second post makes me wonder if your taking that serious. the machine exists and has been being devoloped for years, but there's no threat for it to end the world. i read alot about it a awhile ago an it made me wish i was smart enough to understand how they built that. i've read alot about and need no instructions how to use google. thanks though. the risks are very, very minimal and there's extreme doubt that black holes would even manifest in this experiment. once you get past reading all the controversial shit that is bound to be more interesting to people like us it is a very intriquing project, and i for one will be interested in the results. go to the LHC website an read about it just so you can say your objective. sleep better at night afterwards without fear of the boogyman. An yes i've also read the concerns about it an would not have posted some crappy article like the one you did to try an make my point to scare people.

Pat Buchanan even said that Barack Obama's speech tonight was the best given in the history of the convention. That is totally fucking insane if you think about it. Yep, it's a fuckin trip alright.
To watch a politician speak for more than 5 minutes and not sound like a complete idiot is one thing, but to actually be inspired by it is completely foreign.

Something bigger than i have yet figured out is bubbling under the surface of all this shit, and the fact the obama inspires me just makes me that much more suspicious. And his support of 'wind power' in the name of 'sustainable energy' is a big crack in his holy facade for me. just one, but a very clear one. Big Wind, if you will, is a seriously corrupt business, with direct ties the the current oil giants of today's oiligarchy.
But, yeah, it is hella cool to have a politician who does what they are supposed to do; talk good and be all inspiring and stuff. dude gives me goose-bumps, for real. when i experienced that, i knew they had me hooked on something. fuckers. I bet GW gives those "Family Values' folks goosbumps when he talks about jesus talking to him and saving babies, and all those other code-wrods he uses. It's just our turn this time around. Business as usual will certainly not stop. The only thing a real 'progressive' could do in obama's position is utilize our current surplus of resources and allow us to make some kind of smooth transition to a more sustainable world. But he wont, he'll just make the band-aid concessions to keep the boat from being rocked too hard...
